7坪×6室のワンルームアパートの計画。
この規模のワンルームアパートでは、食事もTVを見るのも寝るのもひとつの部屋の中で行われ、手近なところですべての生活が完結できるのは便利ではあるが、一方で何をするにもいまひとつ気分が変えられないのが難点だ。
各住戸にはモノを置く、腰をかけるといった異なる居場所をつくり、あえて小さなスペースをさらに身体スケールで分節し、異なる領域を横断した使い方のできるスペースを提案している。
1階は基礎あるいは床との関係、2階は屋根との関係でつくられるため、同じプランでありながら住戸空間は階によって異なる。
1階テラスは基礎の立ち上がりを生かし、メインの床より330mm、ベットスペースは445ｍｍ高く設定しており、友人が訪ねて来た時などにはちょっとした腰掛になり、室内と屋外を一体的に使うことが可能となる。
2階は庇が窓にかけて斜めに傾いており、内部をみるとベッドスペースとユーティリティスペースのボックスは斜めの庇に連動した形態になっており、もうひとつの小さな家のようでもある。
1階の各住戸の屋外テラスには道路際の塀となっている壁には開閉式の窓があり、それを開くとティーテーブルになるように設計している。街路からは塀の開口部が開くことで室内のようなテラスの内部が突如として表れ、いつもの風景にずれを生みだす。
このように分節と組み合わせにより、わずか23㎡のスペースでもさまざまな関係性をつくることができる。

It is a studio apartment consists of 6rooms.
The rooms is for single life and so compact. It is just 23㎡. It is standard size for young person in Tokyo .
In the studio apartment of this scale, almost daily life(meals, watching TV  and sleeping etc )are taken place in one room. It is so useful but it’s not easy to change atmosphere.
In spite of a small room , we intended to divide small spaces into smaller division , sleeping space as a comfortable couch , an opening space for books , outdoor space as another room . We aimed to use the spaces across the different boundaries.
The spaces are different according to the floor. At the first floor , the terrace is 330mm higher and the bed space is 445mm higher than the room. When someone come to visit ,they become benches or couches and the space is used integrally with each indoor and outdoor. At the second floor, an eaves of terrace is inclined and connected with the window  ( window is not so tall for a privacy but ceiling is high for creating large volume in a small space . )  Looking inside , sleeping space and utility box are formed by the inclined eaves .They are look like small house .
 On sunny day ,  terrace become extended living room.  There are outdoor terraces for each dwelling unit at the first floor. We added hopper windows on the roadside fence. When this window is opened, It becomes a tea table. Looking at the street from the window,it is as if the scenery from the train window.  This window which is opened or closed , changes daily scenery of the street.
 A variety of usages are created in the only 23㎡ by the combinations of segments.
